Application
1.Thermal reflux extractor and concentrator is suited to herbal plants, traditional Chinese medicine and food additives.
2.This extraction concentrator is applied to recycling and concentration of water, ethanol and methanol.

Working Principle
1.Put the drug material into the extraction tank of thermal reflux extractor and concentrator and insert five to ten times of solvents such as water, ethanol, methanol and acetone.
2.Open the extraction tank tee and vapor valve. After making extraction liquid heat and boil for twenty to thirty minutes, use filtration tube to absorb one third extraction liquid into the concentrator.
3.Close the extraction tank tee and vapor valve and open heater steam valve to concentrate liquid.
4.The second vapor produced during concentration can enter the extraction tank through the upward pipe at the evaporator to serve as the heat source for extraction to maintain the boil condition inside the tank.
5.With the second vapor continuously rising, it changes to the heat condensation liquid by the condenser and falls back to the extraction tank to serve as new solvent added at the drug surface.
6.When the new solvent reaches the bottom of extraction tank of thermal reflux extractor and concentrator with high speed through the drug material layer, the dissoluble effective content in the drug material is dissolved into the solvent.
7.The extraction liquid enters the concentrator by the extraction tube and the second vapor produced by concentration is transferred to the extraction tank to serve as heat source and new solvent. Thus forming new solvent large circumfluence, to keep the density of the drug material and solvent at high grades.
8.The solvent in the drug material dissolves out at high speed until it finishes extraction.
9.Then, the extraction liquid completely enters the concentrator. The concentrated second vapor enters the cooler to continue concentration until the drug cream to reliable proportion (1.2 to 1.34).
10.The drug residue is drained out of the residue outlet. In the case of extraction with organic solvent, it is necessary to add proper amount of water and open the tee and the vapor valve.
11.After reclamation of solvent, the residue is drained.

Features
1.The second steam extracted serving as the heat source of concentration makes medicinal components extract more effectively at low temperature. Besides, it also helps to save steam and human resources.

3.The rate of cream collection is 10 to 15% higher than that of the multi-function tank, and the effective content inside the cream is one time higher than the normal one.
4.Because the heat solvent is added into the drug surface continuously and then they pass the drug layer from up to down with high speed to solve the solute in the drug material during the extraction, so the solute in the drug material and in the solvent keep high grades.
5.Because the concentration is finished inside the seal device with little loss and high transformation rate, so the rate for cream collection is high and the effective content inside the drug cream is high.
6.For the factors is separated with high speed; extraction time is short; and extraction is processed with concentration at the same time, the process from drug material into the concentrated drug cream is only three to eight hours.
7.For thermal reflux extractor and concentrator, the extraction just needs to add solvent for only once, which is used cyclically in a set of sealed equipment. The solvent in the drug residue can be reclaimed basically, which makes the solvent quantity 30% less than that of the multi - function extraction tank and the solvent consumption 50 to 70% less than that of the multi-function extraction tank.
